The people actually running practice and calling games — not a logo running a business.
I've been coaching Little League rec ball since 2020, working with players from 8U to 12U. I've coached multiple teams each season and two All-Star teams, most recently the 11U All-Stars at Fossil Creek Little League. I grew up playing the game, and my passion for baseball has never gone away.
I coach to give back. There's nothing like watching a young player grow, develop confidence, and start believing in themselves. Baseball is the vehicle, but helping kids become leaders on the field, in school, and in their communities is the destination.
Talent gets your attention. Character keeps it. I look for players who work hard, stay coachable, compete, and bring a positive attitude every day. Give me a great teammate who buys into the process over raw talent that disrupts the team.
Work hard. Move fast. Stay mentally tough. Everything we do is built around three words: Want. Work. Win. Mistakes happen. Strikeouts happen. Errors happen. What matters is how you respond. I teach a next-pitch mentality: reset, refocus, and compete.
I've been in and around baseball my entire life and have coached youth baseball at both the recreational and select levels. As a co-founder of Lone Star Locker Room Legends, I'm focused on building a program that develops players the right way through fundamentals, baseball IQ, accountability, and a love for the game.
I coach because I genuinely enjoy helping players grow. Baseball taught me a lot growing up, and I want to pass those lessons on to the next generation. Seeing a player gain confidence, overcome challenges, and accomplish something they didn't think they could do is one of the most rewarding things there is in this game.
The first thing I look for isn't talent. It's actually effort. I want players who show up ready to work, listen, compete, and be great teammates. Skills can be developed. Attitude, hustle, and coachability are what separate players over the long run.
My philosophy is simple: develop the player first and the wins will follow. I want our players to learn how to compete, know the game, handle adversity, and represent themselves and their families the right way. Baseball is the vehicle, but we're really teaching life lessons along the way. That, plus remember to thank your parents for what they do for you — it means a lot more than you think.
I played baseball in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, mainly through high school and during my first semester of college. After that, I continued giving back to the game by assisting coaches, starting with T-ball and continuing through the present. I coach youth baseball with a focus on fundamentals, baseball IQ, confidence, effort, and being a great teammate.
I coach because baseball teaches more than the game — it teaches discipline, accountability, respect, and how to respond when things do not go your way.
Effort, attitude, coachability, hustle, respect, and being a good teammate. Talent matters, but hard work and the right mindset matter just as much.
Teach the game the right way, make practices competitive and fun, and help every player grow at their own pace. Mistakes are part of baseball; what matters is how you respond to them.
That's the full staff for now — more coaches will be added here as Lone Star Locker Room grows.
